The Arka Foundation is a voluntary, non-profit making and non-governmental organization that promotes the welfare of people with special needs and of their families, irrespective of their creed or nationality.

It aims at:

• creating and fostering a positive attitude towards the disabled;
• enriching the quality of life of disabled people;
• promoting community integration and access by the loaning of special aids and equipment;
• forming links in the local community by organizing excursions and similar activities;
• facilitating support groups for the disabled.

Our philosophy is based on the individual's fundamental right to dignity, respect and confidentiality.
